Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. Additional Oscar nominated movies featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was a member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
